Women's Care Center would be delighted to have you participate in our Center’s events and activities coming up this year. This is a great way to support our mission, meet others involved in our ministry, and to provide services in order to keep Women's Care Center going.

Color Me Life 5K Fun Run

Date: September 28, 2013
Time: Registration: 7 a.m.; Fun Run: 7:30 a.m.
Location: Gabbert Football Field (behind the YMCA)
Registration: $40 (if registered before July 31); $35 each for teams of 4
Ages 5 and under, free (will not receive T-shirt); 6-10, $30

Ok, so we know this is a little different. 5K fun run? What does that even mean?
Here's the deal. In addition to our annual Walk for Life, this year we are hosting a 5K event. But, hold on. This isn't one of those gotta-start-training-so-I-can-get-first-place types of run. This is a fun run. A colorful fun run.
You can walk, run, stroll, jog or jump your way through the 3.1 mile course, all while getting showered with all the colors of the rainbow. The point isn't to beat your best time, but to have FUN. And, to help out a great community organization.
All proceeds from the event will benefit theEDGE, the healthy-choices risk avoidance program offered through the Center. The EDGE reaches students in Rhea, Bledsoe, Sequatchie and North Hamilton counties. That's a lot of students learning about the importance of making good, healthy choices, including abstaining from drugs, alcohol and sexual activity.
So, grab a friend, find your best color run garb and join us for this unique experience. Color Me Life.

Every year we gather volunteers, clients, and community members to be sponsored walkers in this event. The funds raised help us continue to make a difference in the lives of many who visit Women's Care Center.

Annual Fundraising Banquet

This year, we are excited to host Julie Ziglar Norman as our keynote speaker. Julie is the daughter of motivational icon Zig Ziglar.
